Questions about Boat Track
Do I need a Boat Track for each boat?
Yes, each boat must have a Boat Track system installed (ask us about fleet discounts), and contract the annual service that best suits your management needs: Basic, Pro or Connect.
How does it work?
Once installed on board, Boat Track continuously receives the GPS satellite signal and, together with the monitoring of the elements on board (batteries, bilge, motor status, temperature, etc.) transmits them in real time via GPRS mobile communication to our servers. All this information can be consulted at any time on our website www.localizatubarco.com. In the event of an alarm or incident, the fleet manager will be alerted by mobile phone.
What events can Boat Track notify me of?
You will have the boat's position and routes, entries and exits from ‘safe zones’, battery charge and discharge history, motor and refrigerator temperatures, etc. under control at all times. All this data is recorded on www.localizatubarco.com and can generate warnings in case of problems.
Is the installation easy?
Boat Track adapts to all types of boats, sailboats, motorboats, jet skis... We ship the equipment fully pre-configured so that it is ready to be mounted and ready to go.
Where do I install it? Is it convenient to conceal it?
It is installed in any area of the boat where GPS signals can be received without interference, so it should not be mounted too low in the bilge or covered by metal that could detract from the satellite signal. It must receive satellite and telephony signals correctly.
My boat runs on 24V, will I have problems?
None, its operating range is between 10 Vdc and 30 Vdc.
Great, you send it fully configured, but what if I want to change something on the equipment?
